About Me

Hi, I'm Natalie, the owner of Flex Care Equine Therapy.

Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My older sister rode growing up, so naturally I followed in her footsteps, and what started as a childhood passion quickly became a lifelong career.

For the past 11 years, I've worked professionally within the showjumping industry, gaining invaluable experience caring for and managing horses at the highest levels of the sport. My career has taken me across New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Europe, where I've had the opportunity to work with exceptional horses, riders, and teams. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of horse care, performance management, and the importance of tailoring care to each individual horse.

Throughout my career, I've always been passionate about finding ways to improve horse wellbeing while maintaining a sustainable lifestyle that allows me to continue enjoying my own horse. This passion ultimately led to the creation of Flex Care Equine Therapy.

What sets me apart is the hands-on experience I've gained working at the highest level, combined with a genuine understanding of the needs of everyday horse owners. Whether I'm working with a top-level competition horse or a beloved family pony, my approach remains the same: every horse deserves patient, thoughtful, and professional care.

My goal is simple — to help horses feel happier, healthier, more comfortable, and performing at their best. I take pride in handling horses with kindness, sympathy, and respect, and I love being able to make a visible difference for both horses and their owners. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a horse move more freely, feel more comfortable, or simply looking and feeling their best.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my own horse, Elvis, an off-the-track Thoroughbred who keeps reminding me every day why I love working with horses.

Thank you for visiting Flex Care Equine Therapy. I look forward to helping your horse look, feel, and perform at their best.
